This four-session program will take place over the course of four consecutive Saturdays. The program will start at 8:00am and end around 6:00pm each day.
In addition to the health care experts and speakers who will be leading sessions and workshops, the program will be staffed by educators who have experience working with high schoolers.

Session 1
Medicine & Innovation
- An introduction to the practice of General Medicine
- Q&A session with a practicing MD, DO, or PA
- Workshop Time: practicing fundamental health care skills like suturing and taking vital signs
- Panel discussion about the future of medicine and innovation plus specific steps you can take to prepare for your future career
Session 2
Health Sciences & Basic Life Care
- An introduction to the practice of Health Sciences
- Discovering the difference between being a nurse, practicing emergency medicine as an EMT, and working as a medical technician
- Hearing firsthand accounts from a medical professional
- Workshop Time: practicing basic life skills and CPR
Session 3
Mental Health & Holistic Wellness
- An introduction to the practices of mental health and holistic wellness
- Q&A session with a practicing mental health professional
- Panel discussion about the daily practice of a mental health professional
- Workshop Time: intro to art therapy
- Wellness workshop on the importance of self-care practices
Session 4
Integrative Medicine & Physical Therapy
- An introduction to the practices of integrative medicine and physical therapy
- Q&A session and discussion panel with a practicing PT or OT
- Workshop Time: practicing OT design and engineering as you design a new type of wrist brace
- Round-table discussion on health equity and social determinants of health
